am wicked sarcastic (but still not a good driver)
a worrier AND a planner for all of the circumstances I worry about possibly happening and I have all of the plans and worry about not having enough plans
a drinker of the wines - because I like wine and I worry. A lot.
medicated (and drinker of the wines) see: worry, mother, daughter, wife, friend...all of it.
Some of my proudest moments are between sunset & sunrise. 9pm to 6am ish. When it’s time for the people who want to sleep to convince the ones who don’t want to that it’s happening. Today is one of those days.

This morning. The person I made climbed into our bed at 3:08, snuggled in & told me, very sleepily, “I like sleeping with no pants”. It may seem like an odd moment to be proud. However. I am a stickler. We were matching jam jams at night. Tops and bottoms. Unless it’s a nightie, you know? For this kids whole life it’s been full jammies. Last night, she asserted herself (she does that ALOT) and said I don’t want pants. Instead of saying “you have to wear pants!” I just said “ok”. If being quarantined with a tiny version of myself has taught me anything it’s - I’m much more selective on the hill on which to die.
Wearing pants to bed. Not that hill.
And this video? Representative of an equally proud (and publicly amusing) moment that is equal to the celebratory feeling I’m feeling right now. (Bittersweet, because I don’t have this dress anymore. I gave it to a @barclayscenter usher at the @eltonjohn concert last year BUT I bought a new one so alls well. Because, sequins aren’t optional they’re optimal ESPECIALLY in a dark ballroom of thousands and you want to find the table.)
