Breaking News: Oreos don't give hugs!
This week (apart from yesterday “starting fresh”) has been an uphill climb - my own personal “everest”. To continue that wicked fun metaphor, I’m back at basecamp, a fellow climber told me I needed a meeting (I’ve missed ALL of them this week). So anyway my ascent to the summit begins by enlisting an @ww journey “Sherpa” named René from Gretna, LA by attending her Saturday morning meeting. I’m feeling the shame of my week. So no video plus my picture is a favorite of mine.
The topic this week STRESS EATING.
I haven’t put myself in that camp the WHOLE quarantine. this week not only was I there I was president, coo, secretary & social committee member. Of course I don’t have a lot of bad choices to chose from but I usually choose from them. Not all of them. This week no sweet left behind (I watch a lot of trolls - the dream works kind not the internet ones who have become far to comfortable saying shit without getting throat punched). If the scale were able to groan as I stepped on it. It would have.
Darcy (WW virtual guise) tells me “put that week behind you and refocus, look at you, you came to a meeting and KILLING this new week already” (and I was still in bed!) René closed the meeting and completed my mental reboot but saying lots of important stuff about not giving in to the stress eating etc. and closed with her personal quote. “Oreos don’t give hugs”. #myWW
